About

Professional learning, fully coordinated.

ECEtraining.ca designs and runs two-day, in-person professional learning for Ontario’s early childhood educators — Kindergarten teacher–DECE teams, Registered Early Childhood Educators in licensed child care, and the supervisors and program leaders who support them.

We work with school boards and child care organisations to deliver sponsored sessions for their staff, and we run open-registration sessions across the province. Either way, we handle the parts that usually fall on someone’s desk: the venue, meals, travel and accommodation, registration, reminders and follow-up materials.

Grounded in Ontario’s frameworks

Programming is built on The Kindergarten Program and How Does Learning Happen?, and delivered by facilitators who are practising educators and pedagogical leaders.

Built for teams

Where possible, Kindergarten teachers and DECEs attend together and leave with shared plans — not one person’s notes.

Two days, done properly

Every session is two full days with lunch provided, protected planning time, and materials sent afterwards. 11 sessions are on the 2026 calendar.

Bring a session to your board or organisation

Sponsored sessions can be tailored to a board’s priorities and delivered regionally, with accommodation coordinated for staff travelling from further afield. Get in touch and we’ll send a short proposal.
